MLA Advocacy Toolkit

The MLA Advocacy Toolkit, available at www.mlanet.org/members/advocacy/ The toolkit has also been distributed in a card format. Each card lists a common problem in advocacy, such as explaining contribution of library, defending against proposed budget cuts, justifying new service. Resources which can be brought to bear on those issues are listed and briefly described. The back of each card presents an actual case in which librarians used those resources to realize the desired change.
