New JCAHO measure re: DVT

The National Quality Forum (NQF) and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations today announced a joint project to develop and standardize performance measures for the prevention, as well as the care, of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The project is funded through an unrestricted educational grant from Aventis.
